"When I open my Cautious Door" Letters and art from TC Cannon to Rebecca Wheeler 1973- 1978.  104 pages, perfect bound. 35 letters, a dozen or so drawings and collages by TC. The last two letters from Walter Cannon after TC's death in 1978. All letters and art have not been seen by the public previously. This is a not for profit endeavor. The Wheeler / Friedman family is not profitting from the sale of this book finacially an any way. All proceeds from sales go directly to printing more books and shipping them for free to institutions dedicated to indigenous art, culture and history.  Each book purchased allows us to send one more free book out. This is the first printing of 200 self published books produced by Gabriel Friedman. 100 of them are for sale, while 100 will immediately be sent out for free. This book was created at the request of Rebecca Wheeler and was funded in part by the Thrive Grant s, an initiative of Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition in partnership with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the visual arts.
